Federal Tax Update:

“What does the new federal tax bill mean for your business”

This session will give an overview on the new federal tax bill that Congress passed. H.R. 1, the Tax Cut and Jobs Act, is the most comprehensive update to the U.S. tax code in more than 30 years.

Some hospitality highlights of the bill includes keeping the FICA tax tip credit, an income deduction for pass-through entities, reduces the top corporate rate, eliminates the corporate Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT), and even allows businesses to immediately expense the full cost of new equipment.  So don’t get left in the dust on how to take advantage of the new tax law.
